Softball Game Preview: Cold Springs Eagles vs. West Point Warriors

Cold Springs is 0-10 against West Point since April of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Eagles will square off against the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. One thing working in Cold Springs' favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three games.

Cold Springs barely beat Dora the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles blew past the Bulldogs 15-3 on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, West Point came up short against Russellville on Tuesday and fell 5-1. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost five in a row.

Cold Springs' win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for West Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.

Cold Springs might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from West Point when the teams last played back in February. Can the Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
