Volleyball Recap: Eureka Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

It was a proper cat-fight when Eureka took on Affton on Friday. The Wildcats walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Cougars. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Jack McMillen paced Eureka's offense, picking up eight kills. McMillen got some help from Jett Wilken and his 18 assists. McMillen was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Eureka's win bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Affton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8-1 record this season.

Eureka wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Rockwood Summit on the 11th. Affton has also already played their next match (against Westminster Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
