Basketball Recap: Yale Comes Up Short

Yale won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Monday. They were dealt a 49-20 defeat at the hands of the Hominy Bucks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-22 back in December of 2024.

Yale has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Hominy, they pushed their record up to 9-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Yale has already played their next match (against Pawnee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hominy will challenge Frontier at 1:45 p.m. on Thursday.
