Basketball Recap: Searsport Comes Up Short

Searsport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 68-42 to the Lee Academy Pandas.

Searsport's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Lee Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Searsport will finish 2024 at home by hosting Central at 6:30 p.m. on December 30th. As for Lee Academy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Mattanawcook at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
