Basketball Game Preview: Bennington Bears vs. Wapanucka Indians

Bennington is a perfect 7-0 against Wapanucka since November of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Bears will host the Indians at 8:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bennington managed to slip by Boswell the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Bears had to suffer through a 64-14 loss at the hands of the Scorpions. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Wapanucka was beaten by Milburn 74-34 on Tuesday.

Wapanucka's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Bennington, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Bennington against Wapanucka in their previous matchup back in November of 2024, as the team secured a 59-17 win. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
