Baseball Recap: Bettendorf Comes Up Short

Bettendorf lost against Hempstead back in June of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 6-5.

Bettendorf's loss dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Hempstead, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Bettendorf didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Beckman on the 14th. As for Hempstead, they will challenge Davenport West at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
