Softball Recap: Cleveland Beats Glenville-Emmons for Their Fourth Straight Win

Cleveland never let their opponents score on Monday. They didn't even let the Glenville-Emmons Wolverines on the board, marking the Clippers' second-straight 17-0 shutout. Considering the Clippers have won six contests by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Cleveland's fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Glenville-Emmons, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Cleveland has already played their next game, an 8-2 win against St. Mary's on the 13th. As for Glenville-Emmons, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 7-4 victory against Schaeffer Academy on the 13th.
