Basketball Recap: Flowers Piles Up the Points Against Parkdale

With a playoff win on the line, Flowers rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They blew past the Parkdale Panthers, posting an 83-47 victory. The Jaguars have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Defeat or not, Parkdale got some senior leadership from Jacob Wilson and Isaiah Richards. Wilson posted 14 points and seven boards, while Richards shot 47% from the field on his way to 18 points. The dominant performance gave Wilson a new career-high in rebounds.

The win (which was Flowers' fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-3. As for Parkdale, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

Flowers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-52 victory against Eleanor Roosevelt on the 6th. Parkdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
