Football Recap: Truckee Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Truckee can now relate to. They were dealt a 42-7 loss at the hands of the Elko Indians on Friday. The Wolverines were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 20-14.

Truckee's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bennett Jitloff, who rushed for 105 yards on only nine carries.

Truckee moved to 9-3 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. As for Elko, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1.

Truckee does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Elko, they will welcome Moapa Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
