Wimberley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Stevens Falcons by a score of 2-0.

Wimberley had a senior duo take command as Ashton Shipman had 11 digs and two assists and Carson Peoples had three digs and three aces. Shipman has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Wimberley was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Stevens only served three aces.

Wimberley's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Stevens, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season.

Wimberley didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Southside on the 28th. As for Stevens, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Gregory-Portland on the 28th.
