Football Recap: Salmon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Salmon fell victim to North Fremont and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 47-0 loss at the hands of the Huskies. The defeat continues a trend for the Savages in their meetings with the Huskies: they've now lost seven in a row.

North Fremont's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Owen Reid, who rushed for 83 yards and a pair of TDs. Another player making a difference was Reuger Lenz, who rushed for 48 yards and one touchdown.

Salmon's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for North Fremont, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salmon will take on Firth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Savages will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Fremont, they will face off against Aberdeen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Huskies 8.4, the Tigers 15) so any points scored will be well earned.
