Volleyball Recap: Newark Tech Takes a Loss

Newark Tech was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Payne Tech Lions. The Terries were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in May of 2025.

Newark Tech's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Payne Tech, they pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Newark Tech will take on West Orange at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Payne Tech, they will challenge Nutley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
