Volleyball Recap: Fowler Has No Trouble Against Kit Carson

Fowler won the last time they faced Kit Carson and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Grizzlies were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Grizzlies.

Fowler never let Kit Carson on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-22.

Izzy Pharr was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had eight digs and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted since September 4th. Syriah Alvarez also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Fowler's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Kit Carson, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Fowler will face off against Lamar at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Kit Carson, they will square off against Wiley at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
