Baseball Recap: Sutton Sammies vs. Millbury Woolies
Sutton had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Millbury Woolies by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Sutton of the 16-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.
Sutton saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andrew Cloutier, who went 1-for-2 with a stolen base.
Sutton will head out on the road to face off against Blackstone Valley RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Millbury, they will be playing at home against Uxbridge at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
