Basketball Recap: Colts Neck Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Colts Neck had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 31-23 win over the Holmdel Hornets. Those 31 points were actually the fewest the Cougars have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Colts Neck's victory bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Holmdel, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Colts Neck will challenge Wall Township at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Holmdel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ranney at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
