Softball Recap: Central Has No Trouble Against Baldwin County

Central won the last time they faced Baldwin County and things went their way on Friday too. Central blew past Baldwin County 11-4. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Kayla Storey tossed a big game, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Mariah Harrison was a standout: she scored a run while going 2-for-3. Madison Wagner also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Central's record is now 16-2. As for Baldwin County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-7.

Central has already played their next game, a 5-0 defeat against Orange Beach on the 21st. As for Baldwin County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 6-0 win against Satsuma on the 22nd.
