Lincoln Northeast never let their opponents score on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 56-0 win over the Benson Bunnies. Fans of the Rockets have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Lincoln Northeast got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Michael Hunter Jr. out in front who picked up 137 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Hunter Jr. was no stranger to the big play, connecting on a big catch that went for 65 yards. Zayne Scully also helped with two TDs in total.

The win was the third in a row for Lincoln Northeast, bringing their record up to 3-0. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.0 points on average this season. As for Benson, their loss dropped their record down to 1-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lincoln Northeast will welcome North Platte at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Benson, they will host Omaha Northwest on Friday.
