Volleyball Recap: Tri-City Christian Takes a Loss

Tri-City Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Escondido Charter Tigers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-13, 25-18.

Among those leading the charge was SIERRA MATTERS, who had five aces and three digs. What's more, she racked up 16 assists, the most she's had over her last 12 matchups. EUNICE MENDOZA also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Tri-City Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Escondido Charter, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-City Christian will host Bayfront Charter at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Escondido Charter, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Loma Linda Academy at 6:00 p.m.
