Softball Recap: Fairmont Senior Comes Up Short

Fairmont Senior fell victim to Grafton and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 11-0 to the Bearcats. The Polar Bears have struggled against the Bearcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Fairmont Senior's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Grafton, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-6-1.

Looking ahead, Fairmont Senior will square off against Elkins at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.42 runs per game on average), something the Polar Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of. Grafton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
