Sotomayor is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 42-34 victory over Brandeis. Given the WILDCATS's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Broncos are ranked 277th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Vandegrift had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Chaparrals by a score of 56-46.

Vandegrift's win bumped their record up to 28-8. As for Sotomayor, their victory bumped their record up to 26-8.
