West Iredell was the 7-4 winner over North Lincoln when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors fell 9-4 to the Knights on Friday. The Warriors' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Trae Clyburn was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Damien Sharpe, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-2.

West Iredell's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for North Lincoln, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.
