Basketball Recap: Eastpointe Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

Eastpointe lost against Sterling Heights back in February of 2018 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eastpointe Shamrocks fell 63-56 to the Sterling Heights Stallions.

Eastpointe's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-3. As for Sterling Heights, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eastpointe will venture away from home to square off against Ecorse at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. As for Sterling Heights, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Clintondale at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
