Volleyball Recap: Medina Valley Comes Up Short

Medina Valley saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell just short of the Hendrickson Hawks by a score of 2-1.

Liv Halbeisen paced Medina Valley's offense, picking up seven kills. Halbeisen got some help from Alana Smith and her 20 assists. Finally, Kacey Farris kept Medina Valley's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

Medina Valley's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Hendrickson, they moved to 5-15 with that victory, which also ended their eight-game losing streak.

Coincidentally, Medina Valley and Hendrickson will both be playing St. Andrew's the next time they take the court. The Hawks will head out to face the Highlanders at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
