Basketball Recap: Brooklynn Gray Key Part of a Team Effort in Knights Win

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 46-39 win over the Glenn Falcons.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brooklynn Gray, who posted 12 points and five rebounds. Those 12 points gave Gray a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Reese Rhodehamel, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.

Glenn's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Arianna Stanley, who had eight points and 17 rebounds. Mia Hurford was another key player, going 5 of 10 on her way to 11 points and seven rebounds.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers' victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Glenn, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-4.

Fort Wayne Bishop Luers will head out to face off against Fremont at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glenn, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 46-42 win against Garrett on the 28th.
