Baseball Recap: Holyoke Dragons vs. Highland Huskies
Holyoke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Highland Huskies, falling 21-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Huskies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Saturday.
Holyoke saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cody Maloney, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base. Tomas Estrada also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Holyoke's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Highland, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4-1 record this season.
Holyoke will face off against Prairie at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Dragons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Highland, they will square off against Merino at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
