Volleyball Recap: Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Riverdale last Thursday, Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy came back down to earth. The Tigers lost 3-0 to Haynes Academy on Wednesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with Haynes Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-8, 25-13.

Alexis Drummond paced Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy's offense, picking up five kills. Drummond got some help from Valerie Huete and her four assists.

Ella Feehan was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 11 digs and two aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Haynes Academy, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against A.J. Ellender on the 3rd. As for Haynes Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Dutchtown on the 3rd.
