Volleyball Recap: Wiley Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Wiley took on Granada on Friday. The Panthers lost 3-0 to the Bobcats. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-14, 25-20.

Lylah Reinhardt paced Wiley's offense, picking up ten kills. Reinhardt got some help from Jacee Kravig and her eight assists. Kravig was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Wiley's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Granada, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-1.

Looking ahead, Wiley will head out to square off against Springfield at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Granada, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McClave at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
