Dixon won the last time they faced Croatan and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bulldogs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Cougars. The win made it back-to-back victories for Dixon.

Aidan Teller and Chance Yeager scored both of Dixon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 23 goals.

Dixon's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Croatan, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11-2.

Dixon didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Northside - Jacksonville on the 16th. As for Croatan, they will face off against Swansboro at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Croatan are facing Swansboro at the right time seeing as Swansboro are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
