Football Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They had to suffer through a 43-13 loss at the hands of the Knob Noster Panthers. The Vikings were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

As for Knob Noster, their win bumped their record up to 4-0. Considering they have won three games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Knob Noster got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Conner Morris out in front who rushed for 29 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast will welcome KIPP Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Knob Noster, they will face off against Carrollton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans' defense has only allowed ten points per game this season, so the Panthers' offense will have their work cut out for them.
