North Pocono is 9-1 against West Scranton since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Trojans will look to defend their home field against the Invaders at 4:30 p.m. North Pocono's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so West Scranton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

While North Pocono's victory against Scranton Prep wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Trojans had just enough and edged out the Cavaliers 9-7. Nine seems to be a good number for the Trojans as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

North Pocono got a big performance out of Jason Walsh, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Jake Reese was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs and one RBI.

Meanwhile, West Scranton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Delaware Valley, falling 10-0.

North Pocono pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for West Scranton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.

Everything went North Pocono's way against West Scranton in their previous meeting on April 10th, as North Pocono made off with a 22-1 victory. Do the Trojans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Invaders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
