After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plant, Durant was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They skirted past the King Lions 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-6 back in February.

Haydn May looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single walk any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Durant's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Tristan Macpherson, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave Macpherson a new career-high. Jackson MccClellan was another, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Durant is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games. King is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Looking ahead, Durant will take on Brandon at 7:00 p.m. on March 25th. As for King, they will look to defend their home field on March 25th against Armwood at 7:00 p.m.
