Yazoo City is 9-1 against Gentry since January of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. Having just played yesterday, the Yazoo City Indians will get right back to it and host the Gentry Rams at 7:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Yazoo City came up short against Murrah and fell 58-50. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Gentry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took a 57-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Canton. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 175th, while the Tigers are ranked 32nd).

Gentry's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Yazoo City, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-10.

Yazoo City beat Gentry 77-64 in their previous matchup on January 3rd. Will Yazoo City repeat their success, or does Gentry have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
