Football Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Columbia lost against Muscle Shoals back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles were dealt a 49-6 loss at the hands of the Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 328th, while the Trojans are ranked 19th).

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Muscle Shoals, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Columbia is set to challenge their familiar foe Hartselle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Muscle Shoals will take on rival Decatur at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
