Volleyball Recap: Linn-Mar Lions vs. Pleasant Valley Spartans

After flying high against Hempstead last Thursday, Linn-Mar came back down to earth. The Linn-Mar Lions lost 3-0 to the Pleasant Valley Spartans on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lions have suffered since October 8th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-17.

Pleasant Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Carsyn Kelley led the charge by getting three digs, three aces, two kills, and a block. That's the most aces Kelley has posted since back in September. Abigail Staats was another key player, getting seven digs.
