Basketball Recap: Bridgehampton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bridgehampton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against East Hampton, sneaking past 63-61. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Killer Bees have posted since January 11th.

Bridgehampton had a senior duo take command as Alex Davis shot 50% from the field to rack up 18 points in addition to six assists and six boards and Jai Feaster went 8-for-20 en route to 19 points and six assists. The game was Davis' third in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordyn Turner, who posted ten points and eight rebounds.

Bridgehampton's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for East Hampton, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Bridgehampton will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Greenport at 4:30 p.m. on January 5, 2026. East Hampton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
