Basketball Recap: Coronado Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Coronado Leopards came up short against the To'hajiilee Warriors and fell 61-51. The Leopards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Coronado now has a losing record at 8-9. As for To'hajiilee, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-13 record this season.

Coronado won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Pine Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pine Hill will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Coronado surely won't give up without a fight. As for To'hajiilee, they will venture away from home to face off against Northwest at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The timing isn't great for Northwest: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while To'hajiilee has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
