Volleyball Recap: Monroe Find Success

Monroe posted their closest win since August 19, 2024 on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Union Preparatory Polar Bears 3-2.

Monroe's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-15. As for Union Preparatory, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monroe will face off against Mount Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Union Preparatory, they will challenge Parkwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
