Basketball Game Preview: Northshore Panthers vs. Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns

The Northshore Panthers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Metairie Park Country Day Cajuns at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Northshore made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Jesuit, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Panthers fell just short of the Blue Jays by a score of 52-50 on Monday. The loss put an end to the Panthers' undefeated start to the season.

Meanwhile, Metairie Park Country Day entered their tilt with Willow on Monday with ten consecutive wins dating back to last season but they'll enter their next game with 11. They put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 60-40 win.

Having lost for the first time this season, Northshore fell to 2-1. As for Metairie Park Country Day, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.

Northshore came out on top in a nail-biter against Metairie Park Country Day when the teams last played back in December of 2024, sneaking past 48-45. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Cajuns have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
