Basketball Game Preview: The Noble Academy Griffins vs. Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers

The Noble Academy and Noble Street College Prep are an even 3-3 against one another since February of 2017, but not for long. The Noble Academy Griffins will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers at 5:30 p.m. The Noble Academy has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with three straight losses, while Noble Street College Prep will come in with three straight victories.

Last Tuesday, The Noble Academy came up short against DRW College Prep and fell 44-36. The contest marked the Griffins' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jerry Blue, who posted ten points. Jeremiah Frost was another key player, putting up ten points.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Noble Street College Prep). They managed a 75-71 win over Back of the Yards College Prep on Saturday.

The Noble Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Noble Street College Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 7-9.

Everything came up roses for The Noble Academy against Noble Street College Prep in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, as the squad secured an 80-45 win.
