Soccer Recap: Newcastle Comes Up Short

Newcastle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They came up short against the Rawlins Outlaws, falling 6-1. Newcastle were not able to make up for their defeat to Rawlins from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Newcastle's goal came courtesy of Tealah Stevenson, who's now up to two this season.

Newcastle's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Rawlins, they moved to 3-3 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Newcastle will challenge rival Worland at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rawlins is set to take on their familiar foe Torrington at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
