Preview: Hill City Hornets vs. Greenway Raiders
Hill City is 1-7 against Greenway since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Hill City Hornets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Greenway Raiders at 7:15 p.m. Hill City will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak (dating back to last season) alive.
Hill City posted their biggest win yet this season on Thursday. They blew past Laporte, posting a 67-20 win at home.
Meanwhile, Greenway pushed their score all the way to 70 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 71-70 to Mountain Iron-Buhl. While losing is never fun, Greenway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while Mountain Iron-Buhl is ranked 80th).
Hill City has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Greenway, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-7.
