Soccer Recap: Northwestern Comes Up Short

Northwestern was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to the Fort Mill Yellow Jackets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Fort Mill this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-0 back in March.

Northwestern's loss dropped their record down to 1-12. As for Fort Mill, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Looking ahead, Northwestern will host Clover at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Northwestern's defense better be ready for this one: Clover have averaged an impressive 3.1 goals per game this season. As for Fort Mill, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Indian Land at 7:00 p.m. on the 29th.
