Softball Recap: Carlisle County Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Webster County, Carlisle County was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 9-6 win over the Crittenden County Rockets. For the Comets, this counts as revenge for the 4-3 victory the Rockets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Carlisle County's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Crittenden County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carlisle County will take on Calloway County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Someone's luck will take a turn for the better: the Comets have lost four straight at home , while the Lakers have lost ten on the road. As for Crittenden County, they will square off against Lyon County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
