Basketball Game Preview: Providence Christian Eagles vs. Headland Rams

The Providence Christian Eagles will head out on the road to challenge the Headland Rams at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Providence Christian will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Providence Christian against Northside Methodist Academy as the team secured a 69-27 victory. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 24 points or more this season.

Headland has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They had to suffer through a 78-41 loss at the hands of Abbeville. The matchup marked the Rams' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Providence Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 28.2 points. As for Headland, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.

Providence Christian came up short against Headland in their previous meeting back in December of 2018, falling 50-38.
