Soccer Recap: Cumberland Comes Up Short

Cumberland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 12-0 to the Lunenburg Central Chargers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Lunenburg Central this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in April.

Cumberland's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Lunenburg Central, their win bumped their record up to 8-4-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Cumberland will take on rival Buckingham at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lunenburg Central is set to square off against their familiar foe Nottoway at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
