Volleyball Recap: Lake Buena Vista Takes a Loss

Lake Buena Vista was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Lake Brantley Patriots.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15.

Lake Brantley was led to victory by Efrain Rivera and Andres Pacheco. Rivera had 23 assists and four digs, while Pacheco had eight digs. Rivera is crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season.

Lake Buena Vista's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Lake Brantley, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coincidentally, Lake Buena Vista and Lake Brantley will both be playing Harmony the next time they take the court. Lake Brantley will host Harmony at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, while Lake Buena Vista will head out to face them at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
