Softball Recap: Linden-Kildare Takes a Loss

Linden-Kildare lost against Rivercrest on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 6-5. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lynlee Lejeune and Kalysa Roberts stepped up to the plate in a big way. Lejeune went 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double, while Roberts went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run. Lejeune has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times she's played.

Linden-Kildare's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Rivercrest, they pushed their record up to 13-9 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road.

As of now, neither Linden-Kildare nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
