The Mt. Vernon Wildcats were handed a three-point defeat in their last contest, but they sure didn't let that happen against the Tecumseh Braves on Tuesday. Mt. Vernon was the clear victor by a 79-53 margin over Tecumseh. Given Mt. Vernon's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 186th, while Tecumseh is ranked 377th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
