Volleyball Recap: Oswego East Takes a Loss

Oswego East lost against Lincoln-Way West back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wolves fell 2-0 to the Warriors.

While Oswego East was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-12.

Leading Lincoln-Way West to victory were Claire Murphy and Ellie Laack. Murphy had 17 assists and five digs, while Laack had six digs. Murphy is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Oswego East now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Lincoln-Way West, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

Oswego East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Bolingbrook on the 2nd. As for Lincoln-Way West, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Lockport on the 7th.
