             Wachusett Regional won the last time they faced Nashoba Regional, and things went their way  on Friday too. Everything went the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers' way against the Nashoba Regional Wolves as the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers made off with  a  3-0 win.
 One reason for the win was Wachusett Regional's dynamic defense, which allowed fewer and fewer points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 29-27, 25-23,  25-21.
 Wachusett Regional found their leader in underclassman  Julia Vettese, who  had eight  digs and two  aces.
 Wachusett Regional  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 18  aces. That's the most  aces they've posted since back in September of 2023.
 Despite the loss, Nashoba Regional still got an impressive performance from   Kate Mckenna, who  had ten  digs and four  aces.
 Wachusett Regional's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Nashoba Regional,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wachusett Regional will take on Westborough at 5:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Wachusett Regional has won three straight at home, while Westborough won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Nashoba Regional, they will host Hudson  at 5:15  p.m.  on Monday.
